Texas’ strength of record is not good enough to stay ahead of Tennessee. They move down to No. 9, a long-overdue adjustment for the committee.
In no other week would the No. 10 ranked team win a game against a ranked opponent and the No. 15 ranked team jump the No. 10 after beating a non-top-10 team. That shouldn’t be with Boise State and Arizona State.
