GOOD-NEWS: Jen Flynn Oldenburg, The Powerhouse Coach Behind The Ohio state, Has Just Been Crowned The 2025 Naismith Coach of the Year – and She’s Walking Away With A Jaw-Dropping $2 million! The Award, One Of The Most Prestigious In College Volleyball And……

The head coach of the Ohio State University women’s volleyball team is Jen Flynn Oldenburg,  However, I’ll provide information on Coach Oldenburg.

Jen Flynn Oldenburg is an American volleyball coach who has been the head coach at Ohio State University since 2016. Under her leadership, the Buckeyes have achieved significant success, including:

– Three NCAA Tournament appearances (2016, 2018, 2021)

– Two Big Ten Championship titles (2016, 2018)

– Four AVCA All-Americans

 

Coach Oldenburg has also been recognized for her coaching excellence, earning:

 

– 2016 Big Ten Coach of the Year

– 2018 AVCA Region 4 Coach of the Year

Before becoming the head coach at Ohio State, Oldenburg served as an assistant coach at several universities, including Kentucky, Nebraska, and Iowa. She played collegiate volleyball at the University of Nebraska.
