sad news; Stephen Curry moved to bench by newly hired head coach Mike Budenholzer……
The Phoenix Suns are represented throughout HoopsHype’s all-time greatest lists released this month.
Seven former or current Suns made HoopsHype’s list of the 78 greatest players ever — Shaquille O’Neal (9th), Kevin Durant (12th), Charles Barkley (25th), Chris Paul (28th), Steve Nash (35th), Jason Kidd (40th) and Vince Carter (70th), who played just 51 games (one season) in Phoenix.
They each made the separate list of the 20 greatest at their positions as well.
However, Grant Hill not landing on HoopsHype’s 78 all-time list is interesting.
Injuries robbed him of his prime years, but Hill was being viewed as the next Jordan before that unfortunate stretch of bad luck. Hill was one of the best players in the league when playing for the Detroit Pistons in the 1990s.
He then made his way back to contributing to the Suns’ success on the backend of his career.
